We're looking for a jack of all trades developer who:

• Loves building software across the stack (backend, frontend, infra)
• Gets things done and thrives in startup chaos
• Enjoys product innovation, devops, testing, and fast iteration
• Communicates clearly and writes well (you'll work async with a remote team)
• Can work comfortably within Central European Time (CET ±2 hours)
• Wants a big impact and real ownership

• Isn't afraid to dip into the backend (FastAPI, Django) when needed
• Communicates clearly and writes well (we work async and remote)

• Wants to have real product impact and ownership

Tally is a remote-first startup based in Denmark, building a chat-based business intelligence tool. Users ask financial questions in natural language—Tally responds with answers, reports, and visualizations.

We're looking for someone to take the lead on our AI infrastructure — not just using APIs, but designing, hosting, and tuning models end-to-end.

You might be a fit if you:

• Have experience setting up, hosting, and optimizing LLMs or other ML models (e.g., via Hugging Face, vLLM, or custom setups)
• Understand how to build and iterate on RAG pipelines
• Are skilled with embeddings, vector databases, prompt design, and structured output parsing
• Know how to run and manage inference infrastructure efficiently (e.g., GPUs, quantization, batching, etc.)
• Can evaluate open-source models and fine-tune for specific use cases
• Communicate clearly and write well (we work async and remote)
• Can work comfortably within CET ±2 hours

Bonus if you:

• Know Python and FastAPI
• Understand PostgreSQL and structured data modeling
• Are comfortable working with Docker and AWS
• Have experience in financial or data-heavy domains

Our current AI setup:

• Multi-provider LLM pipeline (OpenAI + others)
• RAG-based document and data Q&A
• Embedding and vector search using pgvector
• Structured JSON validation and schema enforcement
